Norfolk Inflatables are registered with the RPII (Register of Play Inspectors International) as Inflatable annual inspectors.
We are also registered as an Inspection Body with PIPA (Professional Inflatable Play Association) Scheme, which one of the currently supported Inspection schemes by the Health & Safety Executive, Another being ADIPS (The Amusement Device Inspection Procedures Scheme).
Here at Norfolk Inflatables our inspectors are able to conduct a series of inspections and tests on a variety of inflatable play equipment.

In addition to Inflatable Inspection & Testing Norfolk Inflatables is also an RPII Accredited Examination Centre enabling us to provide the required training and examinations for attendants and operators of Inflatable Play Equipment, Allowing us to offer both the training and examination of candidates enabling them to obtain accreditation from the RPII.
At Norfolk Inflatables all our inspectors have been trained by the RPII & PIPA, and been required to take both written and practical exams to provide evidence of a comprehensive understanding of EN14960. We are able to carry out Bouncy Castle PIPA inspection & Testing on all inflatable play equipment covered by EN14960, for items of inflatable play equipment that falls outside the scope of EN14960 please contact us to discuss other options available via our contact us page or call us on 07906131039
What is does the testing involve?
Inspection and Testing of inflatable play equipment can differ from item to item, however here is a list of some of the items which may be Inspected & Tested on your inflatable play item/s.

Is testing LAW?
It is the responsibility of the owner and or operator/s to ensure that any equipment is inspected by a competent person at regular intervals.
This is set out by The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 at intervals of once a year.
One of the easiest way to ensure this requirement is met is to have all inflatable play equipment tested to EN14960 by a RPII or PIPA Inspector and where suitable a PIPA Report Issued, this will not only satisfy you're legal requirements but usually be a requirement of your insurance company.
What if my inflatable doesn't have a PIPA tag?
We can supply new PIPA tags for any inflatable that is applicable, we can also replace missing tags and re-issue previous tags.
Previously only inflatables intended for Bouncing or Sliding on are covered under EN14960 and therefore can be issued a PIPA Tag, this would include items such as:
- Bouncy Castles
- Slides
- Combination Bounce & Slide Castles
- Multi-Play Centres (Mobile Ones)
- Obstacle Courses
- Enclosed Inflatables such as Disco Domes
- Soft Mountains
- Bouncing Pillows
- Snappies (Moving Section/s)
With the NEW expansion of the PIPA Scheme we are now able to PIPA Tag a variety of NON-RIDE ON Games these currently include:
